ABOUT THE ARTIST

Multimedia Artist Al Benkin (aka Mutantland) is inspired by the absurd antics that go on in everyday life and also drawn to the delicate balance between the human made world verses the natural one and how it’s navigated. Most all of Benkin’s work is kindred-like a patchwork quilt or a chosen family. They all live under the umbrella of a place Al created called Mutantland.
