Roberta Greenberg

Remember when letters were handwritten and full of heart?

That’s the spirit I carry into my analog mixed-media collages. Each piece begins as a love letter – to my family, and to anyone who takes a moment to pause and engage.

I like to think of these letters as being quietly tucked into library books – personal, unexpected, and patiently waiting to be discovered.

Creating art feels like assembling a puzzle, each element capturing a snapshot of a life’s many moments. It’s an invitation: to explore your own stories within the layers, to spark a dialogue that goes beyond the visual and touches something deeper, even magical.

Over time, my work has become a collection of chapters in a larger story I call “My Life. A

Thousand Ways.” © 2026. I invite you to pause, look more closely, and perhaps discover a piece of your own story tucked inside of mine.

About The Artist

Roberta Greenberg is a mixed-media artist whose work reads like a series of quiet letters—layered, intimate, and patiently waiting to be discovered. Drawing from a lifelong relationship with materials, pattern, and storytelling, her practice blends personal history with universal moments, inviting viewers to slow down and find meaning within the details.

Greenberg’s creative foundation was shaped through formal training in Fine Arts and Education at Hunter College, Textile Design at the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management from NYU. This unique intersection of art, design, and narrative thinking continues to inform her approach to composition, structure, and emotional resonance. Her graduate research, which included interviews with more than 60 women business owners, deepened her understanding of lived experience as story—an influence that subtly threads through her work today.

For over three decades, Greenberg co-founded and led the consumer gift brand Protocol alongside her husband, balancing entrepreneurship with family life while cultivating a sensibility rooted in connection, intention, and human exchange. Following the sale of the company in 2022, she returned fully to her studio practice, allowing her visual language to evolve into what she now calls “My Life. A Thousand Ways.” Each piece becomes a chapter—assembled like a puzzle—honoring memory, time, and transformation.

Greenberg studies at the Art Students League of New York, where she has exhibited in annual student showcases since 2023 and received an Honorable Mention in Spring 2024. She is an active member of both the Art Students League and Pictor Gallery in NYC, with work featured in numerous group exhibitions, juried shows, and art fairs, including Art on Paper 2025 and Artsy via Pictor Gallery.

In parallel with her artistic practice, Greenberg is a certified life coach and a trained volunteer mentor with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Her commitment to listening, guiding, and holding space for others is reflected in the quiet generosity of her work—art that invites dialogue, reflection, and a sense of shared humanity.
